The agenda is coming together, and it’s going to be a fun jam-packed week. The workshop will feature three tracks designed to interest both technical and non-technical attendees:

PI Track: Monday, June 25
This one day, non-technical track that will provide a high level overview of XNAT’s capabilities and a forum for discussing XNAT’s future. The day will be built around real world case studies, including XNAT as an institutional image repository, XNAT in multi-center clinical studies, XNAT for clinical translational research, and XNAT for open data sharing.

Administrator Track: Monday, June 25 – Wednesday, June 27
This technical track will include a series of in-depth, hands-on tutorials that cover everything an XNAT site administrator needs to know to run an XNAT system. We’ll be covering a lot of new XNAT 1.6 features, so even experienced XNAT admins will benefit from joining in. Using a working example throughout the workshop, attendees will work through the process of configuring, customizing, and operating XNAT, including creating data types, building and running pipelines, managing projects and users, importing non-DICOM data, configuring anonymization and study protocols, and connecting scanners, remote systems, and radiology workstations.

The Developer Track: Thursday, June 28 – Friday, June 29
This two-day hackathon will give software developers a chance to interface with the XNAT engineering team to collaboratively create new XNAT capabilities and tools. Attendees can bring their own ideas or work on hand-picked projects from the XNAT team.

For more information and to register for the workshop, go to www.xnat.org/workshop. If you have any questions, feel free to post here or mail dmarcus@wustl.edu.
XNAT Daniel Marcus Wed, 06 Jun 2012 1:28:43 GMT XNAT Workshop 2010 http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=1450 A three day workshop is being conducted June 28-30 in St. Louis.
