Sep 6, 2012 12:09 PM | second level folder labels Dear conn-list, I recently upgraded to conn v13i from v12. Previously with v12, when I ran second level analyses, and selected the seed-to-voxel option for various ROIs, I would get subfolders within 'secondlevel' with names like ANALYSIS_01.SUBJECT_EFFECTS_All.CONDITIONS_Rest_Pre(1.00.0).Rest_post(0.01.0). This naming scheme allowed me to easily explore the data later on using spm. With v13i, however, after I select 'seed-to-voxel explorer', I now get meaningless subfolders such asA4VGIW~I AFS97Y~X ASM4H6~4... etc, which makes identifying particular contrasts very difficult. Is there a way to get the old subfolders naming scheme? Or did I accidentally select something incorrectly? Many thanks in advance. Catherine |
Sep 8, 2012 02:09 PM | RE: second level folder labels Dear Catherine, I am using conn v13i on both Mac and PC. I believe that your odd label is reflected to some internal error in Matlab. I had one the same problem when I re-installed Matlab. The solution is simple: remove conn from Matlab path, delete all previous versions of conn (make sure that is deleted from program files if you used it in PC and installed in SPM folder). Download new version, and set up it. Works perfectly for me. alla |
Sep 10, 2012 07:09 AM | RE: second level folder labels Hi Catherine, Another possibility is that it could be Windows recoding very long file/folder names. On my system I get the same thing when accessing the files through Windows 7, but if I access the same files through Linux then the file names appear correctly. Danny |
