Edge matrix
Hello,
I realised that in BN, only values (logics) in the lower triangular part of the connectivity matrix are checked and are visualised. Is there any reason that i can not understand? I have provided part of the code in below:
Iine 665 - 670 of BrainNet.m
...
if EC.edg.directed == 0
index=find(triu(temp)>=t&triu(temp)~=0); % Eddited by Mingrui Xia, 20120702, fix a drawall bug.
ncyl=length(index);
...
Any comments would be appreciated!
Best regards,
Vahab

RE: Edge matrix
Hi Vahab,
Actually, only the upper triangular part was used for undirected network. There is no particular reason that the matrix for undirected network is usually symmetric.
Best,
Mingrui

RE: Edge matrix
Hi Mingrui,
Totally make sense. Actually i have another question,
I am using the follwing code,
BrainNet_MapCfg(Mesh,Node,Edge);
for visualising my conn mats. So, how can I play with options in the script without touching 'Option' in the BrainNet GUI.
For example, what if i want to Draw nodes that have connections, or activate the labels ('Label all'), or adding a colormap.
Thank you again,
Vahab

RE: Edge matrix
Hi Vahab,
The easiest way to do so is firstly draw a figure with wanted pattern in GUI and export the configuration as a .mat file. Then, include this mat file in the commandline.
You can modify the variable 'EC' in the mat file to adjust the figure. Currently, I do not have a document to explain the variable 'EC'. I shall make a brief description recently.
Best,
Mingrui

RE: Edge matrix
Dear Mingrui,
Sorry for the late response. Yes, that worked well. I used the following:
EC = [pwd,'\saved outputs\BN_option.mat'];
BrainNet_MapCfg(Mesh,Node,Edge, EC);
Best,
Vahab
