I am having trouble running the new version. It keeps crashing when I open or attempt o save a new sdm table, and if I try to open a saved one it comes up all confused and messed up with new variables and characters everywhere. I am running Windows 8 OS now.

In order to try to replicate your error and find a solution, could you please send us an example of 'sdm_table.txt' file that produces the crash? If you could also specify explicitly the steps to reproduce it, it would be very useful.
