FBIRN Phase II SIRP task preprocessing
My dear friends,
I am PhD 4th year student at the University of Delhi, India. I am working on computational neuroscience, focusing in Schizophrenia using fMRI data. Currently, I was exploring the Sternberg Item Recognition Paradigm (SIRP) task available at FBIRN Phase II multi-site data repository. I am not able to preprocess the data and apply the GLM approach in SPM8.
It would be very helpful for if any one can help me by stating the Parameters taken during preprocessing steps and what are the steps for GLM analysis in SPM regarding this muti-condition visual task. I will be thankful to u.

Hi,
I haven't analyzed the SIRP data but what exactly is the pre-processing problem? You should be able to get the event timings from the EDAT + TXT files in the folders with the SIRP images. You can use a tool like: https://github.com/tsalo/convert-eprime to convert the EDAT data to CSV files for easier use in FSL and (problably) SPM. We typically use FSL. Have you tried using FSL? There are many references for using FSL such as http://www.mccauslandcenter.sc.edu/crnl/sw/tutorial/html/event.html
Cheers,
Dave
