Thanks Dr. Nieto-Castanon for your reply. Could you perhaps
elaborate on how CONN performs these connectivity metrics in the
event-related context? Based on your paper, when a block design is
used, the task blocks are convolved with an HRF and then
concatenated together for each voxel. In the event-related context
where each event is represented by an impulse, are scans related to
a particular task/trial type concatenated together to create a new
"task-specific concatenated time series"? If this is the case, how
does CONN determine how many scans to take adjacent to a short
(i.e. 1 to 2 second trial) event and how does it deal with closely
spaced trials? Are these task-specific concatenated time series
then used to correlate to the same concatenated scans in other
voxels?
