Structural deformation field to functional
Hi Alfonso,
We're using version 14k and are generating normalization files that have two "ww"s in the prefix. We had used the default preprocessing pipeline, but had also checked the first box, "Apply structural deformation field computed during structural normalization/segmentation option to coregistered functional data as well". Initially we had thought this would be the method that the functional volumes are normalized, but since "functional Normalization" is already part of the pipeline, we realize that this is likely an additional specialization. I tried looking in the SPM8 manual to learn a little more about what this option implies, but I may not be understanding everything. Would you be able to comment on under what circumstances the option to apply the structural deformation field to the functional data would be checked?
Many thanks, as usual, Alfonso,
Mary
