Building a warping server
We are thinking of building a server to run many CMTK/registrations
for our lab. We are wondering how we can get the best 'bang for our
buck' in terms of registration speed. We understand we would likely
need a good graphics card, and probably as many cores as possible.
One possibility might be to get an extra PCI co-processor card,
such as this 60-core beast (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as... : http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/p...). Would the CMTK libraries benefit substantially from such a
coprocessor.
I guess we are wondering, with a ~5000 USD max budget, where would you invest to get the best performace.
Thanks,
Owen
