The subcortical segmentation done with freesurfer is very very similar the IBSR 18 Scans T1w (43 structures).

Does anyone know if Freesurfer and IBSR images are related ? and how ?

I suspect this IBSR dataset was part of the dataset used to train the freesurfer atlas ? does anyone know if it is the case ?
