Dear Lavinia,
Thanks for reporting this, I have included a patch for this issue in the latest release (17c) just uploaded (if I am interpreting correctly this error arises because in previous releases you could not define any of the gray/white/csf mask files from a 4d nifti file, as you could with other ROIs; this has been fixed in the latest release). Let me know if you still run into any issues
