When I use ART for non-rigid registration, it cannot deal with large deformations around ventricles very well, even I tried to adjust the size of search window, correlation window, or smoothness. I am wondering what else could be prominent for the registration process to behave well. In the paper it said that the number of iterations per resolution level is an option to the program, while it does not appear so in the latest documentation/program. Does anybody have any suggestions?
