<p>When simulating particle trajectories using the 'datasynth' command (on the newest version of Camino), I occasionally encounter error messages of the following type:</p>

I have established that this error may depend on the initial choice of seed passed to datasynth, which determines the starting particle positions. A different choice of seed typically eliminates this error. Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine why
some seeds (e.g. starting particle position configurations) yield this error, while others do not. Thus, I have no way of knowing in advance when this error may occur. If anyone has encountered a similar problem, could you please tell me - what is (on a fundamental
level) meant by the failure "to correctly amend step" and what solutions may be available?
