Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to get the exact specification of the fiber file format to write my own reader/writer.

Best
Peter

Hi Donald,

thanks for the answer. I will check that out.

Best,
Peter

Hi Peter,

There is currently no probabilistic tensor tracking algorithm in MRtrix, but there is a deterministic FOD-based tracking algorithm (although I would always recommend the probabilistic version of the algorithm, for reasons outlined in this paper<http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ima.22005/abstract>). Simply use the SD_STREAM algorithm in streamtrack:

Cheers,

Donald.

Hi Donald,

that worked just fine, thank you! I have another question. The probabilistic tracking is only explained for the CSD data. Is it also possible to run it directly on the tensor data? And is it also working the other way round, meaning is there a deterministic tracking for the CSD data?

Best,
Peter

Hi Peter,

This might be what you're looking for (kindly contributed by Philip Broser):

Hi everybody,

I am looking at the mrtrix tracking capabilities at the moment and I wondered if there is a way to convert the .tck files to the commonly used vtk ascii file format.

Best regards
Peter
