Jump to: navigation, search

Simultaneous Requests

There is no time restriction between requests, but there is a limit on the number of simultaneous requests. The following shows the maximum number of requests that can be made for a single IP address.

Site-wide HTTP requests

10 per IP address

Download/Upload requests (HTTP requests to http://www.nitrc.org/frs/*)

10 per IP address

FTP requests

10 per IP address

Spam Detection

In an effort to eliminate spam and to avoid displaying or sending inappropriate messages to NITRC users, NITRC uses a central spam detection system. System administrators can define rules that will restrict the content posted to NITRC. These rules apply to all users who are not logged in. Additionally, some rules may apply to only recently registered users, and some rules may apply to all users. If you post a message that is considered spam or inappropriate, you will receive an error message that explains why your posting has been denied. Please update the contents of your message and resubmit.
