The Code Snippet Library can be accessed by clicking the Download Code Snippets sub-menu link below the "Tools & Resources" main menu link. The Snippet Library function of NITRC allows users to collect all types of knowledge and information about incomplete fragments of code that are usually difficult to organize and share. Examples include sophisticated shell commands, javascript functions, perl one-liners, SQL expressions that perform special queries, algorithms, etc.

Any user can browse the Snippet Library and download code snippets. Click the "Browse Snippets" link at the top of the snippet library pages. You may browse snippets by Language or by Category. The resulting table shows the list of all snippets of the selected Language or Category, and the table includes the snippet ID, the snippet title, the author, and a description of the snippet. You may click on the snippet ID number or the snippet title to view the details of the snippet. You may click on the author name to view the User Profile page for the author.
