JIST 3.0 only support MIPAV 7+. (it should be noted in the download
link — if not, please let me know).
There were substantial behind the scene changes between MIPAV 6 and
7 that preclude comparabilities of binaries.
I will post this comment to our forums with your name removed.

Subject: [External] JIST-CRUISE 3.0 issue
Dear Bennett,
I hope I am asking the following question to the right person, but
I have an issue with the installation of the JIST-CRUISE 3.0
plugin.
When I try to install the plugin in MIPAV 6.0.1 if prompts an error
related to the LICENSE file in the .jar file and that there is a
whole list of plugins that couldn't be installed. I think that it
cannot extract the file from the folder because of the fact that it
has no extension and that there is a folder with exactly the same
name. I also tried to manually extract the files using JDK but that
a similar error is given. Individual extraction of the LICENSE file
and then copying it to the plugin folder also didn't worked out
(java.io.FileNotFoundException: LICENSE (Access is denied))..
Do you have a suggestion or solution for this issue?
Thank you in advance.
