It is largely a maintenance release, although quite a few usability features have been added. This is also the first ITK-SNAP release to provide 64 bit binaries on MacOS and Windows. Among the bugs fixed in this release are ones contributing to slow performance during image preprocessing, mesh generation, and image resampling. I would appreciate if you could try this version out in your environment and provide feedback via this list and the bug tracker on itksnap.org.
