A large part of the conference program is devoted to workshops on subjects such as <a class="external-link" href="http://gulfening.pdc.kth.se/workshops#CALS">computing advances in life sciences</a>,<a class="external-link" href="http://gulfening.pdc.kth.se/workshops#ISC"> interoperability in scientific computing</a>, and <a class="external-link" href="http://gulfening.pdc.kth.se/workshops#TGRDI">global research data infrastructure</a>. Conference&nbsp;papers will be collected in&nbsp;proceedings to be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Papers can be <a class="external-link" href="http://gulfening.pdc.kth.se/submission">submitted</a></strong><strong>&nbsp;until June 24</strong>, on the following conference themes:</p> <p><span class="Apple-style-span">1.
