Open science is not achievable without a robust free and open computing platform.
This brief paper does not only describe how neuroscience community could benefit the most from the largest existing FOSS distribution, deployment, and maintenance infrastructure.
It aims to encourage everyone to participate in delivering this community-driven/owned high quality open research platform.
