The<br /> International Neuroinformatics Coordination Facility (INCF) is an<br /> organization established to develop and maintain database and computational<br /> infrastructure for neuroscientists. Recent initiatives within the INCF<br /> member countries include informatics tool development for better<br /> understanding and treatment of brain-related diseases, among them dementia<br /> and mental disorders. Infrastructure and informatics tools are required to<br /> integrate data from different scales and link symptoms to the underlying<br /> disease causes. The aim of the 5th National Neuroinformatics Workshop in<br /> Finland is to deliver state-of-the-art developments in this challenging<br /> field.<br /> <br /> <b>Program:</b><br /> Invited 30-45 min lectures, poster session, and discussions on<br /> neuroinformatics research. There will be a prize for the best poster.<br /> <br /> <b>Keynote lecturers:</b><br /> - Dr. Kaisa Hartikainen (Behavioral Neurology Research Unit, Tampere<br />   University Hospital)<br /> - Dr. Liam McDaid (University of Ulster, Northern Ireland)<br /> - There will also be a demonstration on INCF Dataspace for collaborative<br />   neuroscience research and data sharing by Dr. Raphael Ritz (INCF<br />   Secretariat, Stockholm, Sweden).<br /> <br /> <b>Registration:</b><br /> Attendance is free, but prior registration is appreciated before November<br /> 23rd.
