Participants are responsible for all other costs of attending the workshop including travel, meals and sleeping rooms. Early registration is encouraged to foster and ideal balance of interactions for participants and instructors. A limited number of seats will be available for the 2014 Spring Stereology Workshop. On-line registration is accepted automatically on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are filled. Workshop Goals <ul> <li>Teach participants to recognize and avoid all known sources of stereology and non-stereology bias.</li> <li>Provide a sound background in the theoretical and practical foundations of stereology.</li> <li>Offer participants one-on-one reviews of their projects with study design experts.</li> <li>Review the histological requirements for reliable stereology studies.</li> <li>Train participants in the overall configuration and operation of computerized stereology systems.</li> <li>Instruct participants in the techniques available to optimize tissue sampling for maximal efficiency. </li> </ul> Accommodations The 2014 Spring Workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort located at 1231 Middle Gulf Drive, Sanibel, FL.
