  <description>&lt;p&gt;Following the successful meetings in Magdeburg, Germany, and Milwaukee, Wisc., USA, the Fourth Biennial Conference on Resting State / Brain Connectivity is scheduled to take place at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge Mass., USA, on Sept. 11,12, and 13, 2014 (Thursday-Saturday).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The conference will be hosted by the McGovern Institute for Brain Research (MIT) and the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging (Massachusetts General Hospital).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The organizing committee intends to bring together key researchers working on technical advances and methodological issues in imaging the brain’s functional connectome. In addition to the major topics of earlier years, the Fourth Biennial Conference on Resting State / Brain Connectivity will include sessions on multi-modal imaging approaches to measure brain structure as well as brain function and include human imaging methods and animal models. Approximately one third of the conference will be dedicated to applications of brain connectivity methods and models in neurological and psychiatric disease.
