Participants of the 20th Annual International Fall Neurostereology Workshop will: <ul> <li>acquire proficiency in theory and practice of design-based (unbiased) stereology.</li> <li>learn how to avoid the common problems and pitfalls in stereology studies.</li> <li>identify the most efficient path to completion of stereology projects.</li> <li>obtain feedback on their projects from professional stereologists.</li> <li>gain proficiency in computerized stereology systems sold by all commerial vendors.</li> </ul> The only prerequisites for the Neurostereology Workshop are college-level statistics and a desire to learn about unbiased stereology. Immediately following the Neurostereology Workshop on Kent Island (November 12-14, 2014), the 44th Annual Meeting of the Society For Neurosciences will commence in Washington, D.C. Gokhale, Ph.D., Professor of Stereology, Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.</li> <li>Special Guest Lectures: to be announced.</li> </ul> Registration Regular registration (prior to October 12, 2014): $850.00 Late registration (after October 12, 2014): $900.00.
