        BACKGROUND: Patients suffer from aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) are thought to have cognitive impairment. However, little is known about characteristics of functional imaging in aSAH patients OBJECTIVE: To explore the whole brain activity pattern in aSAH patients using amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) and functional connectivity (FC).&lt;br/&gt;
        METHOD: 50 aSAH patients and 30 healthy controls were recruited and subjected to a resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging scan and cognitive tasks. Abnormalities of ALFF and FC in aSAH patients and its correlation with cognitive tasks were assessed.&lt;br/&gt;
        RESULT: aSAH group exhibited increased ALFF mainly in the left parahippocampal gyrus (PHG), left inferior temporal gyrus (ITG) and left thalamus(THAL). FC and regression analysis demonstrated that Several connections had positive correlations between functional connectivity strength (FCS) and memory performance in the aSAH group. These FCs included (1) Decreased FC between left PHG and left inferior parietal lobe (IPL); (2) Decreased FC between left ITG and the bilateral inferior frontal gyrus orbital part (ORBinf), right middle frontal gyrus (MFG). (3) The increased functional connectivity between the left THAL and right inferior frontal gyrus orbital part (ORBinf), right inferior frontal gyrus opercular part (IFGoperc).&lt;br/&gt;
        CONCLUSION: We not only discovered unique abnormal cerebral functional topology of aSAH patients on both local and network levels, but also confirmed the correlation between specific functional connectivity strength and memory function of aSAH patients. Additionally, we provided several potential imaging biomarkers to predict cognitive outcomes of aSAH.&lt;br/&gt;
