However, many of the datasets in NDA have become too large for most laboratories to download and store. As a result, NDA is working to develop more efficient methods for query, enabling scientists to acquire and compute directly on small enough datasets. NDA has a program enabling those with approved access to apply for computational credits/support, helping move computation to where the data resides. Approval is subject to NIH review.
