  <title>NITRC News Group Forum: quantitative-single-neuron-modeling-2009</title>
  <link>http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=875</link>
<description>How well are single-cell properties reproduced by present-day neuronal models? Recently, several labs have approached this question by assessing the quality of neuron models with respect to spike timing prediction or characteristic features of the voltage trace. This competition offers a coherent framework to compare neuronal models and fitting methods.

Anyone can participate and any type of model is accepted. Prizes will be given to outstanding contributions. For more details, please see: http://incf.org/community/competitions/spike-time-prediction/2009/</description>
