Version 1.4d is a bugfix release: Fixed a crash that could occur trying to find mean image if running SOCK from the GUI for an existing MELODIC ICA folder.

SOCK Version 1.4 added some new features and improved compatibility with recent versions of SPM. It introduced a new AGRESSIVE_ARTIFACT_CLASSIFICATION flag that allows denoising regression to include a previously undocumented "possible artifact" category. Studylist files now support # comments, quoted filenames, and auto-detected line-specific field count. Compatible with studylist files from iBrain Analysis Toolbox v3.6 for SPM.

This release adds some new features and improves compatibility with recent versions of SPM.

This release introduces batch_SOCK, a routine that automates use of SOCK as a noise filter.
Running batch_SOCK in Matlab will call MELODIC to perform an ICA, then SOCK is called to
perform noise component classification and then the noise component timecourses are
fully regressed from the data. This yields denoised data suitable for analysis with SPM, FSL
or many other neuroimage analysis packages.

A pre-release version of batch_SOCK was used in the following study, which you could
cite if you publish analyses that use SOCK as a noise filter:
