Turone_Sheep_Brain_Template v1.0 released

The TSBTA resources are a set of standardized MRI compatible templates and atlases meant to support the analysis of multimodal MRI data of the Sheep brain (Ile-de-France strain, Ovis aries). They were developped as part of the ImaCervoRepro project, a collaborative project funded by the INRA Centre Val-de-Loire Research center. They provide a unified and standardized framework for the analysis of multimodal Sheep brain data, allowing the reporting of results using a coordinate system of the Michigan Sheep Brain atlas.

The resources function in a common reference space and are:
1/ a high-resolution (300 µm isovoxel) in vivo T1-weighted anatomical template and its associated GM, WM and CSF tissue probability maps (TPMs) for Female sheep (n = 12),
2/ a high-resolution (300 µm isovoxel) in vivo T1-weighted anatomical template and its associated GM, WM and CSF tissue probability maps (TPMs) for Male sheep (n = 8),
3/ a high-resolution (300 µm isovoxel) in vivo T1-weighted anatomical template and its associated GM, WM and CSF tissue probability maps (TPMs) for Mixed Male and Females sheep (n = 16).
4/ a high-resolution (300 µm isovoxel) symetrized sheep brain atlas.

The TSBTA resources are provided at the scanner resolution and are oriented in anterior commisure/posterior commisure axis. Center of the images have been set at the anterior commisure level (Bregma 0 mm).
