SRI24 atlas v2.0 fixes L/R problem

Previous releases of the SRI24 atlas had a laterality problem in the LPBA40 label map. Structures in the left hemisphere were labelled with right hand-side label values and vice versa. This release fixes the problem by swapping labels between left and right, making the atlas consistent with the original LPBA40 atlas as well as the provided label description file.

All other atlas files (anatomy, segmentations, DWI measures, and remaining label maps) are unaffected and remain unchanged.

(Thanks to Yaroslav Halchenko for spotting this problem.)

SRI24 Atlas under new license

We are pleased to announce that the SRI24 atlas has been re-released under a new, more permissive license, Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike (CC-BY-SA) v3.0. Thus, we are dropping the "No Derivatives" and "Non-Commercial" terms of the prior release.

The atlas data files themselves are unchanged compared with the previous release. If you have previously downloaded the atlas, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN. The new license terms apply to all users or the SRI24 atlas, past and future.

SRI24 Atlas: Anatomical Label Maps

We are pleased to announce the availability of anatomical label maps for the SRI24 atlas. We currently provide two maps: one based on the "AAL" template by Tzourio-Mazoyer et al., and one based on the "LPBA40" atlas by Shattuck et al. For each label map, a text file with label descriptions and color assignments is provided, which can be used by "3D Slicer" to load appropriate color maps for the labellings.
