This version includes an improved method for mid-sagittal plane (MSP) detection on which the corpus callosum is segmented. Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Fri, 04 Nov 2022 1:53:02 GMT acpcdetect v2.0 released http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=8519 The Automatic Registration Toolbox project is pleased to announced the beta release of acpcdetect version 2.0 software for automatic reorientation of 3D T1W brain MRI scans into standardized space. The method is based on automatic midsagittal plane and AC/PC detection. Both MacOS and Linux versions of the software are available. Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Tue, 24 Apr 2018 12:55:45 GMT Release of KAIBA Version 3.0 module of ART http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=8231 The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project has released “kaiba version 3.0” a program that can be used to fully automatically measure a hippocampal parenchymal fraction (HPF) index from 3D T1-weighted MRI scans. HPF has been found to be reduced in neurodegenerative diseases and its rate of decline may be used to assess disease progression. Both Linux and MacOS binaries have been made available. The main advancement of Version 3.0 over previous versions is its ability to process multiple (>2) longitudinal MRI scans. Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Tue, 06 Feb 2018 3:45:22 GMT Release of Automatic Temporal Registration Algorithm (ATRA) http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=7963 The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project is pleased to announce the release of Automatic Temporal Registration Algorithm (ATRA) software for unbiased and symmetric (inverse-consistent) registration of multiple intra-subject T1-weighted structural MRI brain scans. The program is accurate, robust, fast, and easy to operate. Youtube tutorials are provided for installing and running ATRA. The program has been tested for registration of as many as 40 MRI volumes from the same subject (Maclaren et al., Reliability of brain volume measurements: A test-retest dataset) with excellent results. It has also been extensively tested on data from ADNI, MIRIAD and OASIS. Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Mon, 06 Nov 2017 2:10:42 GMT Release of KAIBA Version 2.0 http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=6483 The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project has released “kaiba version 2.0” a program that can be used to fully automatically measure the volumetric integrity of the hippocampus from 3D T1-weighted MRI scans. “kaiba” computes a normalized hippocampal volumetric integrity (HVI) index on a single scan (cross-sectional mode) or on a pair of scans (longitudinal mode). HVI has been found to be reduced in neurodegenerative diseases and its rate of decline may be used to assess disease progression.
Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Thu, 25 Aug 2016 1:41:45 GMT KAIBA release http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=5742 The Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project has released “kaiba” a program that can be used to fully automatically measure the structural integrity of the hippocampus from 3D T1-weighted MRI scans. “kaiba” computes a normalized hippocampal integrity (HI) measure on a single scan (cross-sectional mode) or on a pair of scans (longitudinal mode). Automatic Registration Toolbox Babak Ardekani Fri, 13 Nov 2015 2:01:45 GMT Release of version 2.1 of 'yuki' CC segmentation program http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3958 I am pleased to announce the release of version 2.1 of 'yuki', an automated corpus callosum segmentation program under the Automatic Registration Toolbox (ART) project. Two very useful features are added to version 2.1:

• Version 2.1 outputs a corpus callosum thickness profile measured along the length of the corpus callosum. Measurements are made at 99 points as lengths of line segments perpendicular to a medial axis of the corpus callousm starting from the splenium (inferior point) to the tip of the rostrum.

• The new -cc option allows measurements (area, perimeter, thickness profile, circularity, etc.) to be recalculated for manually edited (corrected) segmentations.

(Please see gettingstartedwithyuki_2.1.pdf under http://www.nitrc.org/projects/art for further details).

Babak A. The two main changes from version 1 are:

• The algorithm was parallelized using Open MPI, increasing the processing speed approximately fourfold (e.g., less than 7 seconds on my 2.4 GHz Dual Quad-Core Linux computer by running in parallel 7 of the 8 existing Cores).

• –W and –Hampel options were added to output corpus callosum subdivisions according to the Witelson and Hampel et al. schemes, respectively.

(Please see gettingstartedwithyuki_2.0.pdf under http://www.nitrc.org/projects/art for further details).

Babak A. Each segmentation includes a gray scale image representing the subject's mid-sagittal MRI slice and a binary image indicating the location of the mid-sagittal cross-sectional area of the corpus callosum. The data are available under ART’s OASIS1 Release as file OAS1_cc_normal.tar.gz. -- Thanks to the OASIS project for allowing redistribution of derived data from their database.
