How much variance is removed after preprocessing/denoising?
Hello!
Is there a way to measure how much variance is removed from the resting state data after each/all pre-processing steps? Given that the temporal band pass filter and aCompCor both remove degrees of freedom, I am curious about what percentage of the variance in the original signal remains after all of these signals are regressed out. I would also like to see if there is a population-specific differences in variance removed as well.
Thank you!
