Using Merge Mesh
I am trying to convert my freesurfer fsaverage lh.pial file (attached) into a .nv file for use in BrainNet. The BrainNet User Manual and the message boards have two options: (1) the conversion should be done with Merge Mesh and (2) that BrainNet can load a .pial file. Neither of these methods are allowing me to load my .pial file. When I open Merge Mesh and go to load a file, I cannot load the lh.pial file. Same issue when trying to load it as a surface template. Please advise.

RE: Using Merge Mesh
Hi, please change the file filter to '*.pial' in the open file dialog, then you can find lh.pial and load it.

RE: Using Merge Mesh

Hi, I changed the filter to .pial, but all files in my folder (including the *.pial ones) were grey and unselectable (please see the attached). What can I do to load my .pial files?
