Set up group contrasts on association between a score and amygdala connectivity
Hello,

I have three groups here (group 1; group 2; group 3) and behavioral scores for each group (score 1; score 2; score 3). In addition, I also have a covariate that indicates all subjects included for analysis (include). If I would like to know any group differences (F-test) on the association between the behavioral score and amygdala connectivity, should I (1) select "group 1, group 2, group 3, score 1, score 2, score 3" and set group contrast as "[0 0 0 1 -1 0; 0 0 0 0 1 -1]" or (2) select "include, score 1, score 2, score 3" and set group contrast as "[0 1 -1 0; 0 0 1 -1]"? What are the differences between those two ways of setting up second-level covariates?
