corrected p-value
Dear Experts,

I have a question about extracting the t_thr from studies. Many studies included in my meta-analysis used corrected p-value, however, I found it very difficult to transform corrected p-value either to t-statistics or uncorrected p-value.

I'm wondering if it's okay just treating these studies as using an uncorrected p-value<0.001? Would this affect results largely?

I've read the SDM-tutorials and many relevant papers but these question is still confusing me...

Many thanks for any help!

Yilu

RE: corrected p-value
Dear Yilu

We provide some guidance about this question here: https://www.jove.com/video/59841/meta-an...

Specifically, "If the manuscript does not specify a threshold, use a slightly smaller value than the t-value of the smallest peak. The reason to use this t-value is that if the authors had applied this statistical significance threshold without requiring a minimum size for the clusters, they would have found the same peaks."

Hope this helps,

Joaquim
