Talaraich coordinates converted to MNI end up outside of the brain.
Hi all,
When converting Talairach coordinates to MNI space, some of them end up pointing to a location outside of the brain. For example, the following coordinates in Talairach space: (53, -67, 36), point to the Right Cerebrum, Parietal Lobe, Angular Gyrus, Gray Matter, Brodmann area 39.
Using https://bioimagesuiteweb.github.io/webapp/mni2tal.html, I convert them to MNI space and end up with (52, -71, 28) which is just outside of the brain. When I use GingerAle for the conversion, I end up with a location that's even further outside of the brain.
How to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
