Threshold information unavailable
Dear all,

I noticed that the threshold is a necessary variable of the sdm table. However, this information is not available in every study. Thus, I have to use an approximate number (e.g., t > 3.5) in this case. I would like to ask if the threshold would influence the results of the mean analysis?
Thanks!

Florian

RE: Threshold information unavailable
Dear Florian,

Choosing an appropiate threshold influences in the map estimation of SDM, which can be more or less conservative. A good approach to assess the threshold when is not specified, is to use a slighty smaller value than the t-value of the smallest peak in the study. Another approach is to set the threshold to NA, so the SDM will perform a conservative estimation.

Kinds regards,
Lydia
