I am conducting a resting-state study. My intention is to explore the DMN network through ICA and seed based analysis. One of the seeds used in the analysis to explore this network was the precuneous.Everything went apparently well, but when i was reporting the results, I found that in one of the contrasts the peak of the cluster was located in the precuneous (structure used in the seed to voxel analysis). The coordinate check and the creation of the seed was done from the atlas included in CONN by default (Harvard-Oxford atlas). Is it possible to obtain significant results in the same region used as seed ? I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question (most likely).
