New Survey Seeks Input on Metrics for Biomedical Data Resources
[reposted from nih-data-science@list.nih.gov]

Good afternoon,

The NIH would like input from data resource funders and managers through a short survey on metrics for biomedical data resources. With the publication of NIH's Data Management and Sharing Policy, we seek a better understanding of the existing and desired metrics that resource managers use to judge the usage and impact of data resources. Please feel free to forward this survey to your colleagues. The survey will close once responses reach 300. Please submit your input early to make sure your views are heard.

The NIH Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS) Metrics & Lifecycle Working Group has held two related workshops: Trustworthy Data Repositories Workshop in April 2019 and a Virtual Workshop on Data Metrics in February 2020. The agendas and reports from those meetings are linked below.
If you have additional questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us at odss-metrics-lifecyle-wg@list.nih.gov. We look forward to hearing from you.
