Regression contrast
Hello,
For the contrast for regression is set-up [0 1]. Is the 0 in this example the independent variable and the 1 the dependent or is the 0 to control for a variable?
Thank you
MG

RE: Regression contrast
Hi Matthew,
Typically in a regression model, the [0 1] contrast uses a 0 is for the "constant" term and a 1 for the "slope" term in order to evaluate/test the slope of the regression fit (where the null hypothesis represents no association between the independent/dependent variables)
Hope this helps
Alfonso

RE: Regression contrast
Thank you for your response and explanation!
I think I understand now why the covariate "AllSubjects" is needed since this would be your 0 in the contrast.
