MacOS problems by running >> lesion_gnb_ui in SPM12 on MATLAB
Hi everyone,
I am running into an unsolved problem while practicing in manual and automated lesion segmentation of T1 weighted images in Matlab with Spm12.
While the manual segmentation went smoothly, a problem occurred while running the >> lesion_gnb_ui command line into the Matlab console to perform automated lesion segmentation. The problem consists in the fact that - after having set default parameters, I couldn't either type the name of the desired scan "s01_t1.nii", either enable the system to click on it. Either allowing ALL Matlab files or ALL filetypes led to any improvement.
I suspect it is a compatibility problem since I found a lot of Mac users - mainly of latest versions from 10.1. onward, I am currently running Big Sur 11.5.1. - complaining about problems with UI applications or needing to re-compile Mex. I am wondering if someone developed any plugin or script to enable OS Finder navigation tool to access .nii files. I couldn't find anything in this direction!
Thank you very much in advance!
Silvia
