Adequate ilustration of DTI tract + data with different colors / opacity,...
Dear DTI friends,
i want to illustrate my DTI results using MNI standard glass brain (render, 3-dim), adding my tract as an overlay (Cingulum cingulate gyrus left Mask), and my result file as further overlay (tbss Cingulum cingulate gyrus left).
It works, but I cannot change color of overlays. Also, tract conceals results due to color and size
I tried to reduce opacity of tract mask and add results but it does not really look good. Results cannot be seen so good because
it only contains a cluster of the whole tract
Any ideas to fix this?
Best
LS
purple = result
blurred (due to opacity reduction) other colors = tract

In general, I would use Surfice instead of MRIcroGL for DTI data.
Here is a script you can run by choosing "New" from the "Scripting"
menu, paste in the script and choose "Run" from the Surfice
scripting menu...
import gl
gl.resetdefaults()
gl.meshload('stroke.mz3')
gl.trackload('stroke.trk.gz')
gl.trackprefs(50, 3, 0.5)
gl.shaderxray(0.5, 0.5)
