3 multimodal meta-analysis
Hello,

Now we are performing a multimodal meta-analysis using AES-SDM. To include 3 meta-analyses, we first combined two with the dedault p-value =.0025 and the peak height threshold = .00025. So we got the following *.gz files: A_neg_B_neg_p.nii.gz, A_neg_B_neg_p_0.00250_0.00025_10.nii.gz, A_neg_B_pos_p.nii.gz, A_neg_B_pos_p_0.00250_0.00025_10.nii.gz, A_pos_B_neg_p.nii.gz, A_pos_B_neg_p_0.00250_0.00025_10.nii.gz, A_pos_B_pos_p.nii.gz, A_pos_B_pos_p_0.00250_0.00025_10.nii.gz, A_neg_p.nii.gz, A_pos_p.nii.gz, A_p.nii.gz, B_neg_p.nii.gz, B_pos_p.nii.gz, B_p.nii.gz. If we would like to combine the result representing both "neg" in meta A and meta B with the third one, which file should be uploaded as the "p-value image" in the "Multimodal" analysis? Would this be the A_neg_B_neg_p.nii.gz or the A_neg_B_neg_p_0.00250_0.00025_10.nii.gz file? And how to set the probability p and the peak height threshold?

Another question, in the "Multimodal" tool, why the default peak height threshold is p = .00025?

Thank you very much in advance!

My best wishes,

Jone

RE: 3 multimodal meta-analysis
Dear Jone,

The results representing both "neg" in meta_A and meta_B with the third one corresponds to A_neg_B_neg_p.nii.gz

The default peak height threshold is a bit more conservative than in the main meta-analysis because later the "better scenario" option may be a bit more liberal.

Kind regards,
Lydia
