NeuroMorpho.Org v8.2 released (May 2022)
Dear colleagues,
We're pleased to announce the May 17, 2022 release of NeuroMorpho.Org Version 8.2, adding over 26,000 tracings from 151 new datasets. This major update brings the database total to 173,821 digital reconstructions of neuronal and glial morphology and introduces the new functionality of Similarity Search. Twelve more species are now represented in the repository, including bat, bonobo, giant anteater, hippopotamus, porpoise, potto, red panda, sloth, and Western tarsier. Please visit the What's new and About pages for details on the growing content and features, and check out recent updates to the literature coverage and detailed usage statistics. More than 3000 peer reviewed publications describe scientific applications of digital reconstructions freely available from this public resource. We are continuously grateful to all data contributors from 882 labs worldwide eager to share their hard-won tracings with the research community. We apologize if you receive multiple versions of this message through cross-listing, and as always appreciate any and all feedback and comments. Sincerely,
The NeuroMorpho.Org team
