Siemens XA31 Upgrade - dcm2niix
Hi Chris,

The Siemens scanners at my university are scheduled to transition to XA30/XA31 soon. I have followed the conversation here and on github regarding XA30, but could not find anything related to XA31. Is there anything we should be aware of that you know about before approving the upgrade? If no one has contributed data from XA31 for testing, please let me know, and when ours is complete, I'd be happy to run my protocol on a phantom and share those data. We currently acquire MP2RAGE, T2*, GRE Field Maps, and SMS EPI BOLD sequences. I'm sure I could get one of my colleagues to try their diffusion sequences too if it would be helpful.

As always, thank you for the work you do.

Best,
Jace

I would certainly suggest you acquire a validation dataset, and it would be great if you can share it. The XA30 validation dataset from Indiana University provides a good template of a small dataset that tests the standard edge cases:

I have not seen XA31 data yet. You may want to post your experiences on the Siemens Neuro User Group and also look at their experience from XA30:
