What are the differences between ES-SDM and SDM-PSI?
I am an undergrad Psychology student about to embark on conducting
my first independent research project. I would like to conduct a
meta-analysis on brain areas associated with nostalgia, and it
seems like CBMA is the way to go. I have only discovered SDM
literature 2 days ago and have been trying to absorb as much
information as possible, but in case this forum is rather active, I
thought it might save me some time and ask someone to kindly
explain to me the difference between ES-SDM and SDM-PSI, and
whether one is more appropriate than the other, their typical
applications and whatnot.
Thanks in advance!

Dear SK,
In general, SDM-PSI is more updated. It has more sofisticated methods to meta-analyze the studies, so we always recommend to use it.
Kind regards,
Lydia
