Add additional subjects using Import fMRIPrep feature
Hello experts,

I have imported data that was preprocessed with fMRIPrep into the conn project (GUI).
Since then, about 8 more subjects have been acquired, and I would like to append these new subjects into the working project.
However, when I use the Import fMRIPrep data GUI option, it deletes the existing data and reassigns subjects.
Is there anyway I can add more subjects to the already existing project?
I'm using version 21a.

Thank you so much in advance!

Best,
Erin.

Hi Erin,

The following instructions are for CONN 22.a. First, in Basic, you increase the number of subjects by 8. Then you go into Tools > Convert/Import > from fMRIPrep dataset, and wait for it to load. Then below the Import button you change "import to all subjects" to "import to selected subjects". Then, assuming you have the subjects in your working directory, you reload it again and make sure to link the proper subjects from your working directory (BIDS subjects I assume) to the now-opened CONN subjects directory, and press import. This way you do not lose all the previous subjects.

Hope this helps!

With kind regards
