Time interval between PET and rsfMRI scans

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have information related to how long the time intervals are between PET data and resting-state fMRI data acquisitions in the OASIS-3 datasets? I am looking into designing a multimodal PET-rsfMRI fusion pipeline. I'd appreciate any comment and info on this.

Thanks,

-Gin

RE: Time interval between PET and rsfMRI scans

I've looked around and it seems that there should be a parameter like "days from entry" which should allow me to calculate the time interval between non-simultaneously acquired (FDG) PET-rsfMRI data, even though the exact dates of acquisition are not available. (Otherwise, can I assume that all (FDG) PET-rsfMRI data were acquired on the same day or were simultaneous?)

Does anyone know how I could obtain the "days from entry" information for each subject's data?

Dear Dr. Cruz,

You can find these information on the dictionary available from OASIS (https://bpb-us-w2.wpmucdn.com/sites.wust...).

Days from entry is one of their way to identify their dataset on the file name, i.e.: OAS30001_FDG_d3746, where 30001 is the patient ID, FDG is the modality, and d3746 is the day when the data was acquired since the subject entered the study. So if you have OAS30001_rsMR_d3747, it means the same subject, rsMR as the modality, and d3747 is 1 day after the FDG was acquired, on the 3747th day after the subject entered the study.

I hope this answer helps you.
