fmristat
Hello
are there any plan to develop fmristat, because the original author can't develop any more
( http://www.nitrc.org/forum/forum.php?for... )
The author mentioned here (http://www.nitrc.org/projects/fmristat) doesn't exist any more...
maybe the author name should removed there?

RE: fmristat
Hi Andreas,
FmriStat hadn't been updated for sometime, even before the onset of Keith Worsley's illness; the website mentions that it was last updated in June 2006. I think this probably reflects the fact that it already included a broad array of features, of a very high quality. Also, I think it's fair to say that other fMRI software has not seen very rapid development recently; e.g. SPM's most dramatic changes have been related to MEG, EEG, and diffeomorphic registration for computational anatomy. Having said that, Keith did note in the "Future Features" section of SurfStat (a toolbox he was very actively developing until shortly before his death) that he thought it was "About time to upgrade FmriStat ... ". I'm not aware that Keith appointed anyone to look after FmriStat. There is a note on the webpage for SurfStat,
http://www.stat.uchicago.edu/~worsley/su...
that inquiries about that toolbox should be directed to Felix Carbonell
Carbonell@math.mcgill.ca
so perhaps you could also ask him about FmriStat?
Best wishes,
Ged

RE: fmristat
Hello,
yes of course, the toolbox will work in some parts...
I didn't say it isn't interesting any more. But I also think it isn't very reasonable to mention Keith Worsley with his mail adresse because he cannot answer mails ...
(of course it is possible to ask Carbonell...)
I've seen that some features of fmristat are included in nipy ...

RE: fmristat
Félix Carbonell has kindly agreed to maintain the NITRC listings
for fMRIstat and SurfStat and you will now see him listed on those
pages.
