Input T1 - Output T1 have different intensity
Hey,

Does anyone know a way to make the intensities of the output T1-image identical to those of the input T1-image?  For instance, TumorSimInput1 contains the T1 image from brainweb subject nr. 4.  After TumorSim has processed this image (attachment, t1_out.nii), the intensities of the output are not at all comparable to those of the input anymore.  How can I solve this problem?

Kind regards,

Tom

RE: Input T1 - Output T1 have different intensity
Hi Tom,

The output images are generated using the intensity properties from a real tumor scan so the output intensities will not match the input intensities.

A workaround to generate a comparable T1 image is to reconstruct your own image from the tissue probabilities and mean T1 appearance of each tissue, as a weighted sum:
I_out(x) = \sum_c Prob_c(x) * Mean_c

Best,
Marcel
