multimodal meta-analysis
Dear all,

Can multimodal meta-analysis be used to compare two VBM meta-analyse results? e.g. ES-SDM creates two different tables: "VBM1 pos VBM2" and "VBM1 neg VBM2". Are we right to assume that "neg" refers to smaller structures in our patient sample compared to healthy controls, whereas "pos" refers to bigger structures? Is that correct to use multimodal meta-analysis to deal with two structural analyses?

Many thanks!

RE: multimodal meta-analysis
Dear ...,

regarding multimodal meta-analysis, note that this procedure should be understood as *overlapping* two (or more) maps, e.g. overlapping functional and anatomical abnormalities.

Two *compare* maps, I would specify a linear model.

With the best wishes,
